Joel Austen - Head Coach
An ex-Islander, Joel is entering his 16th year as head coach at John Abbott. After 15 straight championship seasons, Joel's main objective is to continue to develop elite athletes and to keep the winning tradition alive and well. He is currently a member of the Ste. Eliaze Mainberger - Assistant Coach
This is Eliaze's 12th year as the Forward's coach for the men's rugby team.
Eliaze brings 20 years of rugby experience both as a player and coach. Eliaze began his career at John Abbott, then went on playing at Bishop's University and won 3 consecutive championships and until recently he was a member of the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue RFC that captured the O'Neil cup in 2002.
His coaching experience includes a 2 year stint as a rugby coach at Westmount High School and four years as basketball coach at FACE High School.
Eliaze graduated from Abbott in 1990 and subsequently earned a Master of Social Work degree at McGill and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Bishop's University. He can be reached at eliaze@hotmail.com.

Aaron Graham - Assistant Coach
Aaron has joined the men's rugby coaching staff as an assistant coach. He is a current scrum-half with the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue rugby football club. Aaron is a former JAC athlete.
