The Sports & Recreation Department of John Abbott College is seeking applications for the following part-time position:

 

HEAD COACH – DIVISION 1 MEN’S SOCCER

 

The coach will be responsible for:

-          selection of the team

-          preparation of a training program consistent with the level of play

-          development of a season schedule (exhibition games) to complement league play

-          player recruitment

-          working directly with the team’s academic coach to support academic success

-          working with the Sports & Recreation Department to enhance the program

 

Candidates should have a minimum of level 2 NCCP certification but applications from coaches who are proceeding through the program will be accepted.  Experience with athletes of a similar age to college athletes (17 – 21) is an asset.
