Scott Wilson - Head Coach
Scott Wilson took over the coaching reins with the John Abbott swim team in 2006. Scott, a resident of Pierrefonds, has a very strong background in swimming both in Canada and the United States. A graduate from Clarion Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Business Administration, a specialization in Sports Management, Scott was a 4 year PSAC conference finalist on the university swim team.
He has been a competitive swimmer for the past 12 years and has been a Junior National level swimmer. He has been a swim team coach with the Pointe- Claire swim team where he developed and implemented a year-long training program for the Windmill Group.
He also has experience as a pool manager with both the Baie D'Urfe and Lakeshore swimming pools and coached local swimmers in Clarion.
He is former student at both John Abbott and Lindsay Place High School.

Josée Lanouette - Assistant Coach
Josée is returned to her role of Assistant Swim Team Coach in 2008, a position she held from 1989-1996.
A former Islander, she graduated from John Abbott in 1980 where she competed with both the Field Hockey team and the Swim Team from 1977 - 80.
She went on to graduate from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Phys Ed. in 1983. While studying at UWO, Josée was also a member of the varsity Field Hockey team. She also holds an Interdisciplinary Master's of Science (Phys Ed, Biology and Counseling) from New Mexico State University and a Graduate Diploma in Public Health from the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal.
Josée has worked at JAC as the pool manager since 1988 and has been the recipient of departmental awards as both a student and a staff member.
She swims with the DDO Masters swim team and enjoys skiing and playing squash in her spare time.
