Coaching Staff

 

   Cas Ternynck - Head Coach

Cas is a former John Abbott College student who has been the Islander Tennis head coach since 1983. He is the Dean of Islander coaches.

He has guided the team to winning the provincial championship the six of last eight years, and has coached the team to a total of 11 provincial titles during his tenure. The team has played in Provincial championships every year except one since Cas began coaching the team.

On a personal note he played at the college level, is rated as a Professional by the U.S.P.T.R and is a Level II coach in Canada. Professionally, he owns ShowSport Canada Inc., a company that builds tennis courts and sports facilities in Canada and the Carribean. Cas may be reached by email at cas@showsport.ca

   Nicholas Collicutt - Assistant Coach

This is Nick's second year as an assistant coach with the Islanders. Nick played for John Abbott in 2002 and 2003, winning a Provincial Championship in 2002. He is currently studying at McGill University in pursuit of a B.Sc. Nick hopes to bring his work ethic and positive attitude to the Islander Tennis Program.
