Much of my free time is devoted to three active teenagers and their various sports events. I look forward to having some of their teammates and friends in my classes.

My physical activities include hiking, swimming, dancing, glade skiing, weight training and sailing. I was strong enough (1st place Provincials & 2nd place Nationals) to attend the World Powerlifting Championships in 1982 in England, finishing eighth overall. I have also competed in triathlons, basketball, downhill skiing, waterpolo and keelboat sailing.

Past jobs include: working with troubled teens at Batshaw Youth Services. I also worked with the West Island YMCA as a fitness coordinator; at the Downtown YMCA, as a pool manager, and trained personal trainers there too.

I believe that a balanced lifestyle is key to a long and healthy life.

Play on!
