What is Publication Design and Hypermedia Technology?

Publication Design and Hypermedia Technology is a 3-year career program where you will learn how to design for the web and create layouts and graphics for printing. During their final year, our students apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired by entering the workplace for an unpaid 3-week fieldwork placement.

You will learn hands on training in many computer programs such as:

  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Adobe Flash
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Microsoft Access / Excel / Word /
  • QuarkXPress

You will learn to write code in: 

  • HTML
  • Cascading Style Sheets CSS
  • ActionScript
  • JavaScript.
