The CollegeJohn Abbott College has served Montreal, Quebec, Canada and its international communities, with merit since 1971. Our waterfront campus may be recognized as one of the most beautiful in the country however, it is the calibre of our people and our programs that distinguishes us from other CEGEP's. The mission of John Abbott College is to provide an excellent education for our students within a stimulating learning environment that will enhance their development and potential for success in society. The Foundation
The Foundation was established to expand the financial resources available to the College. We believe that by topping up Government funds in the education sector, we can open up new possibilities which will benefit our society and economy. To that end, we are responsible for all fundraising programs that provide immediate monies and longer-term endowment funds. We also rely on the continued support of a diverse group of people, all with a shared purpose: to see John Abbott College flourish. That is why we are dedicated to building lasting relationships with alumni, parents, industry, private foundations and community groups. Many of them attended John Abbott College at one time and are committed to giving something back. With their collective contributions, we aim to protect and nurture our most valuable resources - students and teachers, so that they may continue to raise the bar of academic excellence. The Foundation is governed by the highest standards of stewardship in the administration, investment and distribution of funds for the benefit of the College and its students. We respect the privacy of our volunteers, friends and donors and will therefore ensure that their coordinates are not available for use by other not-for-profit organizations. We adhere to the Donor Bill of Rights as developed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). |
