Admissions - General Information
John Abbott College accepts applicants who meet the minimum admission requirements as defined by the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sports, and who have a reasonable chance of succeeding in the program to which they apply.
Program Selection committees are responsible for admission decisions. Fulfillment of the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee acceptance. The committee reserves the right to defer or to refuse admission to an applicant whose qualifications are inappropriate to the demands of the program. A personal interview, audition, or physical testing may be required for admission to specific programs. Qualifications of applicants educated outside the Province of Quebec will be assessed on an individual basis by the appropriate selection committee. All applications received by the deadline are given equal consideration. Those received late will be considered only if there are still vacancies in the applicant's chosen program.
