We are happy to announce that Eric Molnar and Devin Esposito were the grand prize winners at the first ever Student Innovation Gala held at Collège Gérald-Godin on Thursday, April 18.
John Abbott’s Sandbox, Vanier’s LaunchBox and Gérald-Godin’s élan, three student innovation and social entrepreneurship centres, joined forces to create a joint pitch event. The top two teams from each institutions “local” competition moved on to the Student Innovation Gala. With their eyes on the grand prize, of 1,500$. Teams pitched their project to an audience, of family, friends, members of the community, and a panel of three judges.

Lifelong skills such as team work, collaboration, communication, and time management are develop and polished during the long process of putting together a successful pitch.
